As Seen on CBS 5 Morning News and Heard on KTAR and Mix 96.9--Save Money on Thanksgiving Dinner and Find the Best Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals!

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only three days away?! Here are some tips to make your shopping experience as fun and inexpensive as possible.

Shop early to avoid the crowds. The closer to Thursday it gets, the busier the grocery stores get.

Check the ads and bring them with you. You can see my favorites  here. Walmart matches all competitors ads.

Stick to your list and don't overbuy. It's nice to have some leftovers but it's a shame to see food (and money) go in the trashcan.

Some of my favorites at the grocery stores:

Fry's will take all competitors coupons (like this $10 off $50 purchase from Fresh and Easy http://www.freshandeasy.com/Content/pdfs/coupons/fne10off50coupon_20101122.pdf or this $6 off $30 purchase from Fresh and Easy http://www.freshandeasy.com/Content/pdfs/coupons/fne6off30coupon_11162010.pdf?source=email). All coupons at Fry's are worth at least $1, even if it says they're worth $.10.

Frozen turkeys are $.29/lb. when you spend at least $25.00
Spiral sliced ham is $1.37/lb.
Kendall Jackson wine is $6.99 a bottle when you buy 6 or more

Of course you can use the $10 off or $6 off coupons (see above) These coupons expire tonight so get in there today if you'd like to take advantage of the savings!

Fresh and Easy is the place to go if you want fresh turkeys instead of frozen, they're $.99/lb.

They have 5-lb. bags of russet potatoes on sale for $.49.
Sara Lee pies are $1.99.
Dreyers ice cream is $1.99/1.5 qt. container.

 Fresh green beans are $.77/lb.
Cranberry sauce is $.99.
Cool whip is $.99.
10 oz. shrimp ring is $3.99
Fresh dinner rolls are $1.99/dozen.

When you're done with your Thanksgiving dinner, you'll want to hit up the Black Friday sales! Here are some of the best deals and tips to help you get the most out of your evening!

Plan ahead! Most of the Black Friday ads are already out (I really like the site http://www.black-friday.net/) so you can know what you're looking for and plan ahead!

Stay focused! The stores lure you in with the doorbusters that they actually lose money on, in hopes that you'll impulse buy more of the more expensive items. You can use sites like pricegrabber.com to make sure you're getting the best price.

Plan out your night. Toys r Us and the Outlets at Anthem are opening at 10PM Thursday night so if you're willing to stay up all night and stagger the stores based on opening time, you'll get some amazing deals!

Most of all have fun!!! This is holiday shopping not war. If the person in front of you gets that last doorbuster tv, it's not the end of the world.

Some people would rather not wake up at the crack of dawn (or stay up all night) and fight the crowds! Retailers know this so they came up with "Cyber Monday," the first Monday after Thanksgiving when many people are buying holiday gifts online instead of working. You can get some really good online deals and free shipping Monday!

I really like the site freeshipping.org. If you ever are about to checkout and have a shipping charge, check here to find a free shipping code!

AT&T is offering 5 smart phones for only $.01 on Cyber Monday! A new phone will be for sale every three hours, and you can get text alerts sent to your phone here.
