Rainy day deals that won't break the bank!

It's supposed to rain today! If you don't want to sit at home, here are some ideas that will keep you from getting wet and won't empty your rainy day fund.

What better way to have a great time and burn off some energy after school than going bowling? A great alternative to the park when it's too wet to go outside. At Brunswick, they're offering an "After School Blast" deal, for $6.99, your child will get up to 2 hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, small fries, small drink, and more! Go to http://www.bowlbrunswick.com/event/114/122/ for more information! Bowling must be completed before 5:30! (starts at 2:00)

Check out your local library for some fun, free classes. At the Civic Center library today in Scottsdale, they're having the Martha Speaks Read Aloud book club for 4-7 year olds from 4-5. A really fun way to get kids into reading featuring Martha the talking dog. For more information or to register go to: http://libcat.scottsdaleaz.gov/record=g1003023&searchscope=3&SORT2=R Check your local library calendar for lots of other fun, free classes. You can also pick up a free movie (most libraries have a great selection!) or a culture pass to go to the museum. :-)

Enjoy the day!!!
