Permits are available to cut down your own X-mas tree! Hurry they'll be gone soon!

It's not even Halloween yet, but this holiday deal is too good to pass up! Christmas tree cutting tags (permits) are now for sale at several Big 5 Sporting Goods Stores. You pay $15 for the tag (way less than what you'd pay at a lot) and pick the National Forest where you'd like to find your perfect tree (Apache-Sitgreaves, Kaibab, Prescott, Coconino, or Tonto). Think of what a great holiday memory this would make! Only 6375 tags are available and over 2500 have already been purchased. Check out the full list of stores throughout the state where tags can be purchased, http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/asnf/news/2010/20100923-christmas-tree-tags.shtml. I suggest calling before you go to make sure they're not sold out.

Happy Wednesday!
