Fun, Free Things to do in Phoenix Today (Like the Fair and a Farmers Market!) (already happened)

If you're up early and curious about the Arizona State Fair, this morning it's free! Every Sunday morning from 10-12, you'll pay nothing to get in! If you decide you want to play some games, they're $1 on Sundays. :-) Go to to find out about other deals at the Fair this year.

City North is hosting its first Farmer's Market on High Street today from 10-2. The theme is "Harvest and Halloween" and there will be lots of fun for the entire family. Look out for face painting, kids activities, pumpkin patches, pony rides, and of course yummy local produce and foods. Go to for more information.

If you have a music lover in your house, you might want to check out the Scottsdale Concert Band, performing for free today at 3 PM at the Chaparral Christian Church. They'll featuring soloist John Shepherd on the saxophone and perform marches and military style music. For more information see
