Five Ways to Save $ at the Movies!

Going to the movies is really expensive, especially for families! Here are five ways to save a few bucks when you go. :-)

1. KGB deals is offering $4 AMC Gold Experience Movie tickets- up to a 68% savings! These tickets are good for any movie, any time. Go to http://www.kgbdeals.com/phoenix/?id=1885 to get yours. They have 172 left. I got mine in the mail in about 2 weeks. (price includes shipping)

2. If you have a AAA card, you can buy tickets to AMC and Harkins theaters in every full service office for $6.50 (up to $3.00 savings). Go to http://www.aaaaz.com/discounts/shopping/movietickets.htm for more information.

3. Discount tickets are available to Harkins at Costco. $15 for 2 tickets. Go to http://www.costco.com/ to find a location near you. Must be a member!

4. VIP discounted ticket packs at Harkins. If you love movies and know you'll use the tickets, you can buy 50 at a discounted rate. They offer "ultimate" and "classic" packages. The ultimate includes special engagements anytime and 3D movies before 6 PM. "Classic" packages exclude all shows in 3D and special engagements after 6 PM. An ultimate package will run you $375, while a classic package is $300. Use the tickets with a popcorn shirt (free medium popcorn with every movie) and drink cup ($1 refills) and you'll save even more. Go to http://www.harkinstheatres.com/vipTickets.aspx for more information.

5. Consider seeing a movie at a discount theater. Pollack Tempe Cinemas has movies on the big screen for $3 all the time, $2 on Tuesdays. These are movies that have been out for awhile, but still offer the movie going experience for a whole lot less. Go to http://www.pollacktempecinemas.com/ for more information.
